I worked as the Production Sound Mixer on Lifelines, a short film that premiered at the Media Production and Digital Arts Degree Show at Rua Red Gallery. It was selected for the Generation Fleadh of the Galway Film Fleadh and the Silicon Beach Film Festival.
As Production Sound Mixer, I was responsible for capturing clean, consistent dialogue and location sound throughout the production. Working closely with the director and wider crew, I helped ensure that the sound complemented the performances and visual storytelling while adapting to the challenges of recording on location.
The experience gave me valuable hands-on experience in production sound, working as part of a professional film crew, and maintaining high-quality audio in a fast-paced production environment. Having the film screened at established film festivals was a particularly rewarding achievement and highlighted the importance of strong collaborative work across every department.
